UCI Medical Affiliates Inc. Opens its 40th Doctors Care Center and Second Center in Florence
FLORENCE, SC - Doctors Care is pleased to announce the opening of its second family and urgent care center in the Pee Dee, located at 2200 South Irby Street, Florence. The first center opened in January at 2410 Hoffmeyer Road.
Dr. Johnny Trogdon, Pee Dee Medical Director for Doctors Care said, "Doctors Care is excited to provide convenient urgent care, family care, and occupational medicine to the Florence community. This addition of a second center at South Irby allows us to extend our services in Florence. The new center features include a trauma room, x-ray equipment and an on-site lab, as well as equipment for breath alcohol testing and drug screenings."
Overseeing the two Doctors Care centers is District Manager, Penny Kight, who brings over 10 years of practice experience to the centers.
The new South Irby location will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Visits can be made with or without an appointment. Services include routine check-ups, care for minor emergencies, and family health services including vaccinations and primary care.
