Celebrating a Milestone.
This year Doctors Care is celebrating a milestone – 30 years of giving you the care you need, when and where you need it.
In 1981, we opened our first urgent care center in Columbia, SC, and have grown to an extensive network of clinics in South Carolina, with one location in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Along the way, we've become Certified Urgent Care Centers, placing us among only a fraction of such facilities in the nation to be recognized for the range and quality of services offered. The Urgent Care Association of America, a group representing more than 3,200 medical professionals, bestowed Doctors Care with the designation after a stringent review. The designation is a promise to patients that they can turn to Doctors Care to treat a range of illnesses and injuries and that they'll be able to find services such as X-rays and laboratory work on site.
Though urgent care remains a key part of the services we offer, we now offer complete family care, routine physicals, occupational medicine and specialty services.
Yes, we're considerably bigger than we were as a single clinic in 1981. But, our goal remains the same: Caring for our communities, and continuing to grow as they do.
