New Clinic opens in Rock Hill, SC
Doctors Care hosted an open house for a new neighborhood medical center on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 in Rock Hill, SC. Joining the Doctors Care senior management team were local dignitaries and members of the community. The new center began serving the community on Monday, November 7th, 2011.
A ribbon cutting ceremony began at 11:30am and included Senator Wes Hayes, Councilman David Bowman, and Doctors Care Chief Medical Officer Dr. Thomas Gibbons who discussed the variety of health services Doctors Care will provide to Rock Hill and the surrounding areas. The Rock Hill location is the first clinic to be part of Doctors Care's new region, Piedmont.
The Cherry Road center will employ new doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and support staff. “Our professional team provides quality convenient urgent care, family care, and employer health services throughout South Carolina. We are eager serve the Rock Hill community and surrounding areas with our healthcare services,” said Dr. Kristine McGruder.
Doctors Care Sponsors 5K Dash at Viva La Vista
Always a destination for arts, entertainment and a great meal, Columbia’s Congaree Vista hosted its fourth annual epicurean event to give the Southeast a taste of its award-winning restaurants. Viva La Vista, which is free and open to the public, provided an open and creative environment for visitors to expand their palates by sampling Southern and international cuisine and drinks.
The inaugural Doctor’s Care 5K Dash to the Vista took place at 10 a.m. before the tasting portion of the festival kicked off. Participants received six free tokens for food and beverages and an official race t-shirt. “Because this event has grown so quickly, adding the Doctors Care 5K Dash to the Vista gives runners a chance to spend the morning in the Vista and to be the very first to Viva La Vista. Doctors Care hosted an open house for a new neighborhood medical center on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Woodruff, SC. Local dignitaries and members of the community joined the Doctors Care senior management team. The new center began serving the community on August 1st, 2011.
A ribbon cutting ceremony began at 1pm to include Mayor Brad Burnett and Doctors Care CEO Dr. Michael Stout who discussed the economic impact on the community and the quality healthcare services Doctors Care will provide Woodruff and surrounding areas.
